This is the closest it’s come yet to starting.
Video number two: this isn’t good, is it?

like you mentioned this morning, maybe filling the tank loosened some debris? clogged the fuel filter or pump? just shooting from the hip here

If I had to guess, I’d be leaning towards an ignition/timing problem.
From a quick Google search, it looks like those cars ran an electronic spark control system tied into the knock sensor (I’m guessing) to let the car run as much advance as possible without risking detonation. A couple threads/forum posts mentioned the ESC system giving troubles, and the distributor being different than standard HEI due to the ESC system.
The vacuum diagram I found (if accurate for an 81, I think it was an 80) looked like a spaghetti nightmare, so you could have an issue regarding vacuum advance as well that may not be easily presenting itself. Do you have a timing light?
I’m not familiar with how the ECU on those cars worked, I know it was fairly rudimentary. Do you have any CELs on the dash? Is there a small LED on the ECU itself that can be checked for error codes?

sounds a bit like the timing is off(retarded)...... that puffing out the carb when you are done cranking, like when a car diesels when you shut it off.....
also sounded like it was a bit dry in the carb until you started to pump it......... you might get a soda can, and cut the top off , and squeeze it to a peak. so that you can get some precision pouring, and pour some fresh gas down the carb vent tube, and fill up the float bowls for sure. the vent tube is right behind the choke plate.........
i would pump it twice, and hold my foot to the floor cranking until it lit off....... then keep it revved up slightly until it cleared out.......
it WANTS to start.......

Uhh, I am suddenly happy I didn’t get one of these.
There is a reason these motors are highly regarded as junk. turbocharger+carburetor = not a fun time.
looks like it is in nice shape though, so you shouldn’t have (that) much trouble...
